Sue's Choice

Sue and I leave next week.  It’s an Alaskan Inside Passage cruise on the Norwegian Pearl.  I had found a cruise that had a terminal close to us and that cost a lot less, but Sue won out.

My initial suggestion

This blog will get updated more often than the web site will, but we are still looking for ways to make it easier for us to do some of the things that we would like to. With The Cruise coming up we want to be able to post photos – and maybe even a few videos – along the way, and I wanted a commercial service that was easier to use and where *I* didn’t have to resolve any issues.

We have selected Smugmug for this an our photo/video site is hagius.smugmug.com. I have a few miscellaneous items posted there now in the “Warming Up” gallery. Take a look at it if you like. I’ll be figuring out how to arrange things and use the features of the service to make things easy to see.

One of the reasons that we chose Smugmug is that visitors don’t have to have an account to see the gallery. Another is that visitors aren’t assaulted with advertisements! The service is also iPhone friendly.
